Therein Lies the Question

"Perhaps the Lord will act on our behalf. Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few." 1 Sam. 14:6

This is what Jonathan, son of King Saul, stated to his armor-bearer as they were contemplating whether to attack a small army. Jonathan's faith was based in His heavenly Father instead of his earthly father since the Spirit had been removed from Saul previously. Jonathan basically states two core beliefs: 1) Belief in the will of God, and 2) Belief in the power of God.

This is the $64,000,000 question - Will He save? As my family journeys through this season I am sure we individually and collectively have pondered the thought, "perhaps the Lord will act on our behalf". These statements sum up my conviction of faith.

My conviction of faith is faith that believes Christ can and hopes that He will.

May you experience today the peace that God gives His best to His children so His will is always going to be His best for us.

"As for God, His way is perfect; The Lord is proven: He is a shield to all who trust Him." Ps. 18:30.

After all we have been through, I am convinced God is preparing our entire family for a time of reflection on God's greater purpose in our respective lives.
